My wife and I listed our 5-bedroom home of nearly 18 years while awaiting completion of our new construction home in the area—little did we know our house would sell in a matter of days. After checking out two other apartment complexes that offered short-term leases in the Fox Valley, Watermark Terrace at the Grove clearly stood out as the place and location we wanted to spend the next six months.
The quality construction, hands-on professional management, and the amenities are outstanding. My wife and I both use the fitness room, and our Golden Retriever looks forward to romping at the dog park conveniently located just steps from out apartment.
Outside there are very attractive gathering areas, complete with comfortable seating, quality gas grills and fire pits. The pool is off the club room, making relaxing or entertaining a real pleasure. The underground heated parking and storage options are added benefits along with a car wash. There is even a “dog spa” which our dog Jaxson needed after a recent dog walk!
All facilities are kept clean and maintained. Community news is posted on a resident only website informing residents of the “latest”, and those interested can connect with other residents. My wife and I look forward to the occasional “get togethers” the management sponsors to mingle, enjoy food and beverages, and chat with our neighbors.
We are very happy residents and have already shown the complex to some friends who may also be interested in downsizing. We never imagined after 38 years of owning a home that we would be pleased moving back into an apartment, but Watermark Terrace has exceeded our expectations and satisfaction.
