Dueling Pianos, Lou’s Pies, and Mother Nature’s Fall Finest—Residents Have a Blast at Watermark Events!

Smiles and laughter were in abundance at the Watermark community gathering featuring dueling pianos, Lou Malnati’s Pizza, and refreshments. Mother nature participated with a full burst of early fall sunshine and moon-lit clear sky. Residents enjoyed each other’s company warming up at the firepits on the North Terrace, overlooking the pond and surrounded by all the open spaces (including the walking path and dog parks!) that are signature Watermark amenities.

We host gatherings like this throughout the year—usually around one a month—to bring the community together and treat Watermark residents to some great food, drinks, and entertainment. This event was part of our Music Series—it was the third North Terrace live music event since Spring. Past events have included cover songs, alcohol served by Cruising, and a Kona Ice truck serving snow-cones for kids and boozy snow-cones with alcohol add-in options for adults. It is always a great time!

I go to all the events! They are big part of why wanted to live here. They cater to their residents.

When the residents were asked what draws them to the events, their answers varied. (Although we can imagine the smell of Lou’s is hard for anyone to resist!) One resident simply answered, “Wine!” Another said, “It’s first event I’ve been to, but it gives you a real sense of community. I lived in many apartments, and this is the first time that I felt welcomed and at home.” We love both of these answers!

We’re so glad residents are loving the sense of community at Watermark, and most of all that they truly feel at home. Here’s to many more fun events in the future!
